BAFFLE ME – MIX OF ENGLISH TENSES was created precisely to practise grammar in a more realistic way. In a real conversation, nobody tells you which tense to use. You have to understand the meaning of what’s being said, choose the right structure, formulate a question or respond quickly and correctly.

This game combines all the best features of the BAFFLE ME series. Players practise various tenses and structures simultaneously: Present Simple, Present Continuous, Past Simple, Present Perfect, Future Simple, ‘have got’, ‘can’, ‘to be’ and ‘to be in the past’. This makes the game more challenging, but also much more rewarding and prepares the players more effectively for fluent communication.

In the BAFFLE ME variant, players compete against each other by asking questions at a rapid pace to provoke an incorrect answer and eliminate their opponent from the game. In the ASK ME variant, the task is to form questions that match the short answers shown on the circles. Each correct response requires not only knowledge of vocabulary, but also careful consideration of tense, meaning and correct sentence structure.
