PERSONALITY FLIP (Ø50cm)

You know that moment when students know words like “friendly”, “lazy” or “honest”, but when they have to describe someone’s character, all you hear is “He is nice”?

PERSONALITY FLIP was created to bring personality vocabulary to life in real conversation. The board has two rings with 24 character traits: positive qualities and their opposites. Players tell stories from real life, books and films, defend their choices, build teams for missions and act out scenes. At the most unexpected moment someone calls “FLIP!”, the wheel turns, and the characters suddenly have to change their behaviour.

Students don’t feel they are doing just another exercise. They speak because they want to convince others, make the group laugh or win the round – and with every turn they use new words more confidently.

Five different game variants make it a great fit for one-to-one lessons, group classes, private tutoring, language schools and home use. Use it as a quick warm-up or as the main activity of a lesson.

PERSONALITY FLIP grows with your students. At lower levels, players describe simple situations and answer questions. With stronger students, you can develop argumentation, role-play, storytelling and justifying choices – for example, whether a trait helps or hinders someone working as a pilot or a teacher.
